Here is a clarification to the pattern:

Row 7-12 should be knit in the CC. The CC is your working yarn at that point, and the MC just stays put, while carried up the side of the cloth as your CC does the work.  The MC becomes your working yarn again when repeating Row 1. 

The Lion Brand video for &quot;Carrying [non-working]Yarn up the Side of
Your Work&quot; can be found in the Special Instructions portion of the pattern.

Basically, it gives you a nice edge, and you don&#039;t have to break the yarn every time you switch back and forth between the MC and CC.</description>
